In August each year we celebrate Book Week! Book Week is one of Australia’s longest-running and most-loved events for kids, families, and book lovers everywhere!

Since 1945, Book Week has brought schools, libraries, and communities together to celebrate the magic of reading and the people who bring stories to life.

Dress up for ReadUp

For Book Week 2026 we want you to dress up as your favourite book character and come and see us at the library!

You can collect a special edition Book Week ReadUp sticker - and you can sign up to ReadUp or show you are a member.
