Pine Rivers Art Gallery
Pine Rivers Art Gallery is a welcoming space located on Turrbal Country.
The gallery presents an immersive and engaging exhibition program centred around an annual theme. Through collaborations with local and national artists visitors will encounter art experiences that spark curiosity and creativity.
Visitors of all ages can extend their exhibition experience in the gallery’s dedicated engagement space. Throughout the year, a diverse range of events and activities are presented, from hands on artist-led workshops to family-friendly school holiday programs.

Parking
Free parking is located off Gympie Road and Mott Street within the Officeworks complex, including a designated accessible parking bay located close to the gallery entrance.
Supporting your visit
Everyone is welcome at Pine Rivers Art Gallery. We aim to provide inclusive and accessible experiences for all who visit the gallery.

Each exhibition will also have a Visiting Story. This is usually available within two weeks of the exhibition opening and can be found on the exhibition webpage.
The gallery has a Quiet Room for use be any visitors that may need a low sensory space during their visit.

Quiet times
Pine Rivers Art Gallery offers fortnightly quiet hour sessions where the space is transformed into a low sensory setting.
During quiet hour, visitors will notice the following changes:
- visitor numbers in the gallery are kept at a minimum
- lighting is reduced where possible
- background music is turned off
- phones and PCs are turned down
- conversations are kept low.
These Quiet hour sessions are currently offered fortnightly on Thursdays 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM. Bookings are not required.
During the school holidays, the gallery can be busy. It is usually quietest in the afternoons between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
During school term, the gallery has varied busy and quiet times. Please call or email the gallery to check if any workshops or tours are scheduled for when you would like to visit.
Public transport
Pine Rivers Art Gallery is a short 5-minute walk from the Strathpine train station. The gallery can also be accessed via bus, with regular bus routes stopping at Strathpine interchange, located at the Strathpine Shopping Centre which is a 10 to 15-minute walk.
Toilets
Toilets are on the far left when you enter the gallery. The gallery’s bathroom facilities are accessible for people with disabilities. The gallery has a baby changing facilities.
The gallery does not have a changing places toilet, the nearest changing places toilet is located at South Pine Sports Complex, 620 South Pine Rd, Brendale QLD 4500.
Food and drink
Food and drink are not to be consumed within the gallery exhibition area unless indicated otherwise. Pine Rivers Art Gallery is nearby great dining options including the Strathpine shopping precinct. Or take advantage of the sunshine and natural spaces and enjoy a picnic across the road in Pine Rivers Park.
Guide dogs and companion dogs
Pine Rivers Art Gallery welcomes guide dogs and companion dogs. Please see one of our friendly staff if you require water.
