Relax in The Vault at Caboolture Hub and listen to the original funk-rock beats from BASOKI.
While you're here, don't forget to explore the gallery's exhibition, Looking Out, Looking In: Exploring the self-portrait.
In an age when digital technology has transformed how we live and interpret our lives, this exhibition offers a broad and accessible setting to consider our contemporary obsession with self.
Daniel ‘BASOKI’ Dow is an acoustic singer/songwriter. He is a proud descendant of the Komet and Peibre Tribes of Murray Island in the Eastern Torres Strait. BASOKI’s original music is an unexpected brew of funk, rock, infectious motifs and insightful lyricism. His performance invites listeners to journey through the triumph and pain of a life well-lived. BASOKI’s harmonies, engaging crowd banter and unique selection of covers promises an entertaining experience for a diverse audience.
