Paper notice fee

Council will charge a $2.50 fee for all paper rates notices issued from January 2025. Ratepayers who receive their rates notice electronically, or who receive a pensioner rebate or self-funded retiree rebate, will be exempt.

Holiday closure

Council’s customer service centres will close at 12:00 PM on Tuesday 24 December 2024. Normal business hours will resume at 8:30 AM on Thursday 2 January 2025.

Community events calendar

City of Moreton Bay’s community events calendar is where you will find plenty of free or low-cost events for the whole family to enjoy.

Each year Council releases a new calendar with the aim of providing residents with affordable and vibrant events that are close to home.

The calendar includes signature events such as Moreton Kids Festival, Christmas Carols and Feasts and Beats. It also has community favourites like Jazz & Shiraz, Teddy Bears Picnic, Movie in the Park, and more.

The events are delivered in partnership with Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism (MBRIT).
