Paper notice fee

Council will charge a $2.50 fee for all paper rates notices issued from January 2025. Ratepayers who receive their rates notice electronically, or who receive a pensioner rebate or self-funded retiree rebate, will be exempt.

Holiday closure

Council’s customer service centres will close at 12:00 PM on Tuesday 24 December 2024. Normal business hours will resume at 8:30 AM on Thursday 2 January 2025.

Disability Action Week

Disability Action Week is an opportunity to recognise the one in five people in our region living with disability and the role they play in our communities.

It is a time to highlight our progress, while acknowledging what needs doing to make our community more accessible and inclusive.

Council supports activities that celebrate Disability Action Week. Community grants are available to eligible community organisations. These grants support projects during Disability Action Week and throughout the year. Visit community grants for more information.

Other activities are available throughout the year. Join in a fun Healthy and Active Moreton event, visit our local Libraries, Galleries and Museums, or search Council’s What’s On calendar.
