In Your Face Exhibition

‘In Your Face’ is the Redcliffe Art Society’s first exhibition for 2025. A group of nine local artists presents a vibrant collection of artworks dedicated to portraiture. From the famous to the anonymous, from the obscure to the defined, love of the face binds the show.

The exhibitors belong to Redcliffe Art Society’s longstanding Thursday Portrait Group, currently under the helm of distinguished local artist Jamie Congdon. Painted in bravura impasto brushstrokes in oil or carefully considered watercolours, this group exhibition offers insights into nine artists' approaches to modelling the face.

This free exhibition, at The Old Fire Station Gallery, 395 Oxley Avenue, Redcliffe, is open to the public Wednesday to Sunday.

Come to the official opening at 1pm on Saturday 18 January 2025 to meet the artists and browse the collection.

It's a wonderful opportunity to consider and support work from established, award winning and emerging local artists.
