City of Moreton Bay is joining over 750 cities in 120 countries to mark the occasion with a ton of musical fun across galleries, libraries, and museums. 

Join the fabulous drag king Will Turn-Her and the amazing Megan Barnes for a trivia night like no other! It's a wild mix of Pride Month, Make Music Month, nostalgia, good vibes, and great tunes.  

Team up for an epic music trivia challenge or go solo to compete for the coveted trivia crown. And don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with delicious mocktails and canapés to keep your brain sharp!

About the host 

Introducing for your enjoyment and pleasure, Moreton Bay’s favourite Drag King… Will Turn-Her! With his swarveness and charm, you are bound to be entertained! 

Will’s style of drag ranges all over the genres, but his love for the limelight and his fans is a poorly kept secret! 

Will Turn-Her began his drag journey around local venues in Moreton Bay, known for his extravagant and fun-filled event Trivia With A Twist (commonly referred to as T.W.A.T). 

Will is a proud member of the ‘Toucan Kings’, Brisbane/Meanjin's incredibly talented Drag King group, who stole the crowd's hearts with the first full Drag King performance in Brisbane/Meanjin in 20 years. 

You might have caught Will proudly strutting his glorious sideburns as a Rainbow Ambassador at Moreton Bay Pride Fest 2024, where he was crowned 'Moreton Bay's Drag King'. 

This King is no stranger to the stage, performing at events like Brisbane Pride, QueerSwich - Ipswich’s Annual Pride Festival, Loud & Proud at Logan, and return performances at Pip Theatre in Milton. 

Will Turn-Her is a proud local of Moreton Bay and strives to create memorable experiences of entertainment and pride for all to enjoy.

About the musician 

Megan Barnes is a singer, DJ, and entertainer with a powerful, beautiful voice, delivering unforgettable live performances across genres like Pop, Rock, R&B, and Jazz. 

Known for her acclaimed tribute shows, she has wowed audiences as P!nk, Lady GaGa, Madonna, and Sia. 

As the founder of Rainbow Productions Australia, Megan offers a range of entertainment services. 

In 2025, she continues performing with her cover band "Cinderella" while expanding her business.

Make Music Month  

City of Moreton Bay's Make Music Month is back and featuring a line-up of solo and duo acts. All 16 of Council’s galleries, museums, and libraries come alive with rhythm and tunes in June for Make Music Month. Enjoy free events, live performances, jam sessions, workshops, and more as we put music on the map.
