Join us for our first ever Bat Night! Meet Frankie the flying fox and enjoy an afternoon full of family fun at this free event.

Explore market stalls, get free native plants, all while learning about the best pollinators in Moreton Bay - flying foxes!

With food and coffee trucks, face painting, craft activities, a jumping castle, kids games and other outdoor activities, there is so much to do!

Environment Officers will showcase Sweeney Reserve’s flying fox colony, debunk myths and discuss the role these native animals play in our environment. 

See flying foxes up close and show your support for bat conservation, as local bat experts share their knowledge and research.

Don't forget to come dressed up in your bat or Halloween themed outfits. Frankie the flying fox is excited to see you there.
