NAIDOC Week is held in July each year and celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
City of Moreton Bay respectfully acknowledges the Kabi Kabi, Jinibara and Turrbal Traditional Custodians of the lands across the region, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Council proudly supports activities that celebrate NAIDOC Week. Visit community grants to see if Council can offer additional support.
Other activities that celebrate the history and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are available throughout the year. Find more events that celebrate First Nations history, arts, and culture.
