Make Music Month at North Lakes Library is all about celebrating the joy of music, and you’re invited to take part!
The People's Grand Piano will be available all month long, waiting for you to sit down and play. Whether you’re a seasoned pianist or want to try a few notes, this public-access piano is open to everyone.
On select days, experience live music from skilled and experienced musicians.
Don’t miss a performance by pianist, composer, and producer Rohan Seekers. With over ten years of experience, he combines jazz, improvisation, and modern styles to create a unique and captivating sound.
Come and experience the magic of live music, or take a turn at the keys yourself!
About the musician
Rohan Seekers is a pianist, composer and music producer who has been active within the music community for over 10 years.
Having studied jazz performance, improvisation and music technology at the Queensland Conservatorium, Rohan’s musical endeavours encompassed various styles and genres.
He is often seen performing in various original music projects across the South East Queensland region. These include the hip-hop and jazz improv group Life on Earth, the ambient and lo-fi production team Desmond Cheese, First Nations and African-American poet and MC Sachém, and neo-soul producer and vocalist Squidgenini, along with many others.
