Next date: Saturday, 07 June 2025 | 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Celebrate Matariki, the Māori New Year, with us in a unique and unforgettable way! Join the 'Star Poi' experience and feel your heartbeat pulse in harmony with the Māori Poi, an energy you won’t want to miss.

Matariki, marked by the rise of the Matariki star cluster, signals a time of reflection, renewal, and connection with the natural world. This is a true celebration of Māori traditions and culture.

Sing, dance, and unite as we come together as one. We’re aiming for 100 Star Poi to beat in sync, sending our rhythm all the way to the stars and beyond!

After the performance, dive deeper into the magic of Matariki celebrations at the exhibition Ngā Pakiwaitara O Matariki: Māori storytelling amongst the stars. Explore the rich traditions of Māori storytelling and celebrate the past year while setting intentions for the year ahead.
