Ukulele workshop and jam session with Strummania

Join Strummania for a fun and interactive workshop and jam session for all ages! Whether you're a beginner or an expert, you'll learn how to find the rhythm in a song, develop strumming patterns, and master the art of playing by ear.

This session is perfect for ukulele, guitar, voice, and other instruments, and it's great for anyone aged 12 and up (or 8 and up with an accompanying adult).

It’s a relaxed, enjoyable way to add something new to your musical skills. Don’t miss this opportunity to jam and learn!

What to bring

To join in on the fun, bring your own ukulele. One or two ukuleles will be available for use on a first-come, first-served basis.

Guidance from experienced musicians Trisha Scott and Bill Plant.
Large screen lyrics and chords to follow along.

About the facilitator

Trisha Scott and Bill Plant play a wide range of songs from the 1920’s through to the 2020’s. Ukulele, bass, violin and kazoo combine with tight harmonies to bring the songs that you know all the words to (and some that you don’t know too).

Over the years they have facilitated workshops for beginners through to advanced players and all in between.

You are sure to find something new and challenging to add to your ukulele repertoire!
