Weave connection with Bianca Bond

Join a free and inclusive weaving circle led by Bianca Bond for Joy Connection's winter program. Weave connections with natural materials and enjoy warm conversations with fellow weavers.  

Weaving is a way to share knowledge, connect with people and country, and practise mindfulness. You will use carefully sourced materials and be gently guided through weaving techniques by Bianca.  

Enjoy weaving in a calm and cosy environment and form conversations with others through a connected experience. 

About your host 

Bianca is a young Kabi Kabi woman, a descendant of the Da'la people, a Traditional Custodian of the Sunshine Coast. 

She comes from a long line of strong and proud Aboriginal people. She works in community, education, government, employment, youth work, language, business and more.  

Bianca is passionate about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education and raising awareness for their cultures, languages, history and ways of life. She's involved in initiatives relating to leadership and empowerment through areas, such as:

• identity
• connectedness
• a sense of belonging and cultural activism.
