Do you want to learn more about recognising and responding to young people who are in or have survived domestic and family violence (DFV) situations? 

This free workshop covers best practices when working with young people who are, or have experienced, DFV, and their families.

The workshop is designed for anyone working with young people from 12 to 18 years of age, in youth or general community services, individually or in groups.

The training will cover:

  • recognising and responding to young survivors in a trauma informed manner
  • discussing dynamics and impacts
  • safety and exploring support options.

The workshop also includes:

  • information on resources and referral pathways available in and to City of Moreton Bay
  • time for answering questions and peer discussions on current approaches.

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.

The venue has an external ramp and lift access, as well as underground and street parking.
