Join us for a Waste-Free workshop!

This March, we’re celebrating Zero Waste Day with a hands-on workshop that makes learning about waste fun!

Did you know that the average Australian generate 2.95 tonnes of waste per year? That’s a landfill-load of rubbish!

If you’ve got a curious kid aged 6 to 12, this event is the perfect way to introduce them to recycling, reducing waste, and sustainable habits.

The session, run by Cleanaway, is designed to be interactive and engaging while aligning with Queensland’s education curriculum.

To make the workshop even more exciting, a real Cleanaway truck is scheduled to visit!

However, due to operational needs, there is a chance that the truck may not be available on the day.

This workshop is a great way to get kids thinking about their environmental impact while having fun.

Whether they’re already eco-warriors or just getting started, they’ll leave feeling inspired to waste less and recycle more!
