Art Kids: Caboolture

Keep your children’s creativity growing by joining us at Caboolture Regional Art Gallery to explore new ideas, techniques, and make new friends.

These sessions are perfect to get young artists thinking, growing and learning in a relaxed environment, led by the gallery team.

Term 1’s Art Kids is inspired by the exhibition, Maximum Madness: Art inspired by Mad Max.

The program is suitable for all abilities aged 6-12 years. When booking, choose individual sessions at $5 each or all three classes in a series for a discounted price of $4 a class.

Parents are welcome to join in or relax in the gallery. All children must be accompanied by an adult during their visit. Places limited, bookings essential.

Monstrous zine collage - 19 February

Using a grab-bag of pop-culture images, magazines, and material scraps, cut and paste your own ghastly characters and imagine the desolate world they inhabit.

Science fiction action figure - 19 March

Create your own science fiction action figure ready to take home “in the box”.

Brainstorm your rebellious (anti)hero and their characteristics, design the toy’s packaging and mould your figure from clay around a ready-built armature. Come away with a one-of-a-kind, colourful character. Book here.
