Art Kids: Caboolture

Keep your children’s creativity growing by joining us at Caboolture Regional Art Gallery to explore new ideas, techniques, and make new friends.
These sessions are perfect to get young artists thinking, growing and learning in a relaxed environment, led by the gallery team.
Term 2’s Art Kids is inspired by the exhibition, Tamara Dean | Leave only footprints.
The program is suitable for all abilities aged 6-12 years. When booking, choose individual sessions at $5 each or all three classes in a series for a discounted price of $4 a class.
Parents are welcome to join in or relax in the studio space. All children must be accompanied by an adult during their visit. Places limited, bookings essential.
Upcycled landscape sculptures- Wednesday 14 May
Create a unique landscape using rubbish or waste materials. Learn the basics of sculpting with found objects and reimagine how you look at waste and the environment.

Light drawings - Wednesday 28 May
Learn how light can be an essential material used within contemporary art. Join us to create your own light drawings where we play with shadows and objects to uncover a new way of creating.

Gather and create with nature - Wednesday 11 June
Explore and gather natural items from the gallery surrounds to bring back to the studio and create your own flower paintings and imprinted clay objects.
