Are you looking for an event that immerses all your senses? On 7 June, visit Caboolture Regional Art Gallery and weave your way through Tamara Dean's exhibition, Leave only footprints.
The exhibition incorporates scent, photography, installation and moving images to keep you enthralled. On the last day of the exhibition, heightening your sense of sound is multi-instrumentalist Efiq Zulfiqar.
Using a looping machine and multiple instruments, Efiq will create a soundscape for your journey through the gallery.
Efiq Zulfiqar is a multi-instrumentalist and composer from Bandung, West Java - Indonesia. He has performed with Indonesian contemporary fusion bands like Krakatau, Jugala All Stars and Sambasunda. His talent and love for his native Sundanese culture are evident in his compositions and artworks, and he is also renowned as a performer of rock, blues, and fusion music. Since moving to Australia, he has been experimenting with performing his solo compositions and collaborating with local musicians. While here, he shares his culture and helps create a greater understanding and cooperation between Indonesia and Australia.
