Rockpool trinket dishes
Next date: Tuesday, 14 January 2025 | 10:30 AM
to 12:00 PM
Have you ever visited the beach and looked closely into a rockpool? What do you see? What sounds do you hear? What can you smell?
In this school holiday workshop, you are invited to take a moment to slow down and discover the beauty of the little things around you.
You’ll be guided through hand-building techniques using air-dry clay to craft a unique and functional trinket dish, inspired by the rockpools along the sandy shores of Minjerribah.
Elisa Jane and Sonja Carmichael share their memories and experiences of exploring Quandamooka Country through their diverse artistic practices in exhibition, Deep Blue.
Join the Pine Rivers Art Gallery team for a fun, hands-on workshop where you can explore your own connections to the places and people you love.
Cost $5. Bookings required.
Pine Rivers Art Gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
