Tour and Tea: Deep Blue
23 Nov 2024 | 12:30 PM
- 01:00 PM
Dive into Deep Blue and learn how creating art with someone you love can deepen connections, foster a sense of belonging, and celebrate the enduring power of family and culture.
Elisa Jane and Sonja Carmichael are mother-daughter artists and proud Ngugi women from Minjerribah on Quandamooka Country. Hear about their ways of working, connections between past and present, and how collaborative practice has revived weaving practices once thought to be lost.
Join a member of the Gallery team for an illuminating exhibition tour, followed by a soothing cup of tea to help you take a moment and connect.
Group bookings are available anytime during open hours. If you would like to book a group visit, please contact the gallery on (07) 3480 3905 to discuss how we can cater to your needs.
Pine Rivers Art Gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
