This summer, join us for a family fun day celebrating all things iconically Aussie!

Slip on your thongs and pop on a hat as you meet loveable native Australian animals.

Learn about the best native plants for your backyard and take home a native seedling to get started.

Bring a picnic to enjoy in the shade of the gumtrees or have a play with hula hoops on the grass.

Come inside the museum to beat the summer heat, while you explore the exhibition Defining Symbols of Australia, a touring exhibition created by the National Museum of Australia.

Be inspired as you create an artwork that is iconically Aussie to you!

Free. No bookings required.
