Bigger and Better - Anytime, Anywhere!

If you’re a theatre maker, performer, dancer, singer, comedian, musician or any kind of creative with ideas that can’t be confined to the stage - We want to see your talents!

Anywhere Festival will be back in Moreton Bay in 2023 and Expressions of Interest are now open until the end of the month (October 31).

Mayor Peter Flannery urged local artists to put their performance pitches in ASAP.

“As Shakespeare said ‘all the world is a stage’ and our ambition in 2023 is to activate the most surprising and spectacular locations around our amazing region,” he said.

“Anywhere Festival goes beyond the limits of the stage to bring diverse contemporary performances into community spaces and local businesses so people can enjoy the arts close to home.

“We’ve heard loud and clear that locals want more festivals and activities in their suburbs and neighbourhoods.

“Which is why in addition to continuing our support of the Anywhere Festival we’ve also worked with Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism (MBRIT) to deliver a whopping 43 community events in this year’s Budget.

“That means there’s a Council-sponsored party somewhere in Moreton Bay almost every week.

“Council is passionate about seeing more activations and events taking place in their local streets and suburbs, which is exactly what Anywhere Festival is about.

“This is your unique platform to showcase your skills, and our chance to celebrate the wealth of homegrown talent right here in the Moreton Bay Region.
