City of Moreton Bay has begun the search for the best food and beverage providers to operate from the new Suttons Beach Pavilion.

An initial market awareness campaign will showcase opportunities at the new Suttons Beach Pavilion. This will be followed by a formal tender where interested parties will be invited to submit responses.

Mayor Peter Flannery said this was a prime opportunity for the right hospitality operator(s) to bring an unforgettable dining experience to the Suttons Beach Pavillion.

“The chance to operate a food and beverage facility in a highly popular, stunning waterfront location doesn’t come around that often.

“We’re aiming for the food and beverage offering at Suttons Beach Pavilion to create a lasting and vibrant hospitality scene, delivering a high-quality and inviting experience to all those who choose to dine-in or takeaway.

“We envisage the new Pavilion will offer a delicious and diverse selection for breakfast, lunch, dinner through three food and beverage venues.

“During this initial period, we’re spreading the word about the hospitality opportunity before starting the formal tendering process.

“Council has engaged food and beverage industry experts to further attract exceptional food and hospitality operators.”

Councillor Karl Winchester (Div 6) said he’s excited to see the future hospitality offering re-energise Suttons Beach.

“It’s an enviable site that’s set to become a destination where both locals and visitors alike will gather and soak in all this site has to offer.

“This is a unique opportunity for experienced operators to make their mark and contribute to a thriving, modern food and hospitality scene in one of the most sought-after locations.”

City of Moreton Bay encourages all interested parties to view the information on the hospitality opportunities here. Interested parties do not need to respond to this information but can ask questions through the City’s E-Tendering portal.

A formal Request For Tender process, where interested parties will need to submit a tender response, will commence May 2025.
