Beat the winter chills with our exciting and affordable lineup of school holiday activities between 24 June to 7 July 2024.

City of Moreton Bay is thrilled to offer the biggest Active Holidays program ever, with plenty of fun and engaging opportunities for children and young people to experience.

Mayor Peter Flannery highlighted the significance of affordable school holiday activities for families.

“With the cost of living being at the front of families' minds, now is the perfect time to engage with our extensive range of 115 activities which are either free or as little as $5,” he said.

“Our Active Holidays program brings children aged 3 to 17 together to play, develop new skills and make new friends in an inclusive environment supported by qualified and experienced instructors.

“Parents and guardians can plan their holiday adventures by visiting our website, where a detailed list of free or low-cost activities is searchable by activity name, location and date.”

Council is excited to welcome back some beloved activities along with new offerings, including:

  • Silent Disco - dance like no one is watching.
  • Learn to ride a bike - gain valuable skills that improve independence and safety.
  • Girl School Holidays Tennis Program - your chance to be the next Ash Barty!
