Set around the Hills District All Abilities Playground, The Hills Under 5s Playtime in the Park will provide a superb morning out for families and little ones.
Mayor Peter Flannery invited everyone to join the fun at the free event taking place between 10am - 2pm, Thursday 20 May 2021.
“We’re proud to host this event at the award-winning All Abilities Playground, which features 16 different types of inclusive equipment across five zones including accessible swings, musical instruments, slides and a sensory garden,” Mayor Flannery said.
“I’m a firm believer in creating opportunities for all children, no matter their ability, because we want all kids to be able to play, learn and grow.
“Children can get creative in the hands-on craft area, explore the toddler sensory play area or take some time out in the quiet zone.”
Local Councillor Matt Constance (Div 10) said between the stage performances, markets stalls and activities, there was something for the whole family to enjoy.
“With plenty of food options, make sure you fuel up to keep up with your little ones!” Cr Constance said.
“There’ll be roving entertainment and a main stage with performances from Rhyme Rhythm and Sign, Kaboodle the Clown and King of The Kids.
“We’ll also have market stalls offering advice for parents including child care centre information, speech therapy, swim school options and other support networks”
