Run, don’t walk to secure your school holiday fun now

Kids will be spoilt for choice these school holidays with a huge range of activities on offer as part of Moreton Bay Regional Council’s Active Holidays program.
Acting Mayor Jodie Shipway said that the ‘Active Holidays’ program was always very popular and encouraged parents to head online to secure their spots.
“Bookings have just opened, and with school holidays starting next week, there’s still plenty of time to book an activity and get the kids holiday plans sorted," she said.
“There’s over 90 activities to choose from in the Autumn ‘Active Holidays’ program which really allows kids to play and be active, make new friends and learn new skills.
“With all activities free or low cost it’s also a good way for children to try their hand at a different sport before committing to a full-time activity.
“These school holidays there’s BMX clinics, camping skills workshops and even hip-hop dancing for children to explore and master.”
Active Holidays provides a diverse range of sport, recreation and wellness activities and workshops from 4 to 14 April 2022. All activities are provided by qualified and professional instructors in local parks and venues across the Moreton Bay Region and suitable for children and young people aged 3 to 17 years.
