Future Goshawk Court District Recreation Park

The LGIP indicatively nominates a location and land area for a future District Recreation Park at Goshawk Court, Caboolture (identified as Open Spaces item 43; OS-43).

What is a District Recreation Park?

A District Recreation Park has a minimum land area of four hectares and is relatively square in shape. It offers a range of recreation opportunities such as:

  • large playground
  • pathways for cycling and walking
  • multi-use activity space
  • open kick-about space
  • fitness nodes
  • BMX, skate and scooter opportunities
  • picnic and BBQ facilities
  • event and performance space
  • public toilets.

Site selection

Council has now completed a site selection process that confirmed the land requirements for District Recreation Park OS-43, and this will be reflected in a future LGIP amendment.

The required land parcels are shown in orange.
