The Shopfront Renewal Program helps commercial property owners promote their available spaces to potential tenants. This exciting initiative provides eligible shopfronts with vibrant decals for display on windows, giving your property a fresh, eye-catching look. With these attractive decals, your property will not only stand out on the street but also transform the shopfront into a focal point of opportunity for tenants!

Is your shopfront eligible?

To qualify for a window decal, your property must have been vacant for at least 6 weeks and be: 

  • currently advertised for lease 
  • a suitable retail shopfront for vinyl decals, for example, have glass windows 
  • located in City of Moreton Bay 
  • ground-level and street-facing, with direct customer access from the street, or an outdoor pedestrian mall (excludes shopping centres or indoor malls).

How to apply for a shopfront decal

Property owners (or agents with permission) can quickly apply by filling out our online form. Apply now and get your property noticed!

Please note, the application form will require you to supply a photo of the front windows of the premise and a photo showing the windowsill or corner.

Shopfront renewal application form

City of Moreton Bay will send an approval notice to the nominated email address provided in the application form. Once approved, Council's approved decal supplier will contact the owner or agent to schedule the installation. The program ends on 30 June 2026, at which time Council will contact all applicants to arrange the free removal of window decals. Removal is also available before 30 June 2026 if tenants lease the property by emailingeconomic@moretonbay.qld.gov.au
