City's economic development grant

The City's economic development grants support community organisations in developing initiatives that align with our economic strategy. Eligible initiatives include:

  • business mentoring
  • business planning workshops and resources
  • supply chain and diversification studies
  • projects that activate the local economy
  • collective precinct identity and profiling.

The grant provides up to $10,000 in funding to successful applicants.

Before applying for the grant

Read the grant guidelines(PDF, 214KB).

You will also need to discuss your proposal with the Economic Development team by emailing economicdata@moretonbay.qld.gov.au. This will allow you to get initial feedback on whether your proposal is eligible and aligns with Our City’s Economic Strategy.

When to apply for the grant

Dates for the 2024/25 grant rounds are not yet finalised.

We will notify you of the outcome about 3 weeks after the round closes.

You must submit your application before the activity starts.
