Voluntary conservation program grants

Grants are available for members of Council’s Voluntary Conservation Programs including Voluntary conservation agreements, Land for Wildlife, and Backyards for Wildlife. The grants assist landholders to complete environmental projects on their properties which aim to protect and enhance native vegetation and wildlife habitat.

What funding is available

Grants are available up to a maximum of:

  • $2,500 per Voluntary conservation agreement property
  • $1,000 for a Land for wildlife
  • $500 for Backyards for wildlife.   

When to apply 

  • Applications are now open and close at 11:59 PM on Monday 2 September 2024.
  • Project acquittals are required by Friday 30 May 2025.
