Light up request for Council-owned buildings and assets
Moreton Bay businesses or community organisations can request the light up of Council-owned buildings and assets in coloured lights.
The light up request must be for significant local, state or national events, awareness campaigns or causes that meet one of these requirements:
- have a city-wide audience
- benefit all Moreton Bay residents
- are of direct significance to City of Moreton Bay
- are a national event represented in multiple states
- are an internationally recognised day (for example International Women's Day)
- the minimum requirement for Council to receive requests is 10 business days.
How to submit a light up request
Light up requests must be submitted via the online form.
To make an application, complete the Light up request for Council-owned building and assets form.
You will be notified of the outcome via email within seven business days.
Assets and colour options
Humpybong
The Humpybong Creek Fountain at Humpybong Park, Redcliffe can be requested for light up.
- Coloured lights available are red, green, blue, orange, yellow, cyan, purple, pink, and white.
- There is an option to colour cycle with red and green.
Redcliffe
The Redcliffe Administration Building at 1 Irene Street, Redcliffe can be requested for light up.
- Coloured lights available are red, green, blue, orange, yellow, cyan, and pink.
- There is an option to colour cycle with red and green.
Caboolture
The Caboolture Administration Building at 2 Hasking Street, Caboolture can be requested for light up.
- Coloured lights available are red, green, blue, orange, yellow, cyan, purple, pink, and white.
- There is an option to colour cycle with red and green, green and yellow, or blue and gold.
Scarborough
The Scarborough seat located under the tree at Scarborough Beach Park, Scarborough can be requested for light up.
- Coloured lights available are red, green, blue, orange, yellow, cyan, and pink.
