Refugee Week is held each year to celebrate cultural diversity and promote education, understanding, respect and a sense of belonging.

Celebrations are held in June each year and include World Refugee Day.

Did you know?

One in every five residents in Moreton Bay were born overseas, this includes people from refugee backgrounds. With more than 180 nationalities speaking more than 150 different languages in our community, our cultural diversity is one of our greatest strengths and is at the heart of who we are. It makes Moreton Bay a great place to live.
