Mental health and wellbeing support
Natural disasters are extremely challenging for many people across the community. People will have varied physical and/or emotional reactions following a natural disaster. For some, it may feel overwhelming and become difficult to cope.

If you work for a charity, social service, school, community group, government or non-government organisation, you can apply to use GIVIT to help find the essentials that people you are working with need to improve their wellbeing.

Free legal advice
Legal Aid Queensland
Contact Legal Aid Queensland for free legal help with issues you may face if your property has been damaged by disasters.

- Small Business Debt Helpline gives free, independent and confidential advice, and provides support for small businesses affect by floods.
- Rural Aid provides counselling, financial assistance, and fodder and water supplies and other support to farmers. To learn more, visit Rural Aid.
