Environment centre school excursions and group tours
Are you looking for an exciting way to learn about our natural environment? City of Moreton Bay invites your school or group to discover more with our guided tours. You can select from one of the three environment centres in Burpengary, Griffin and Eatons Hill.
Our guided tours and excursions cover various topics and are a great way to connect with nature and learn about Moreton Bay's unique ecosystems, flora, and fauna.
The tours and excursions provide an enriching learning environment through:
- hands-on outdoor activities
- the development of science enquiry skills
- appreciating local biodiversity, catchments, and marine environments.
They cater to all ages from Prep to Year 12. There are half and full-day excursions available.
For more excursion information, view the Teachers' Guide(PDF, 1MB). General guided bushwalks are also available.
