Sandbags must not be placed into your general waste bin unless they are empty. The sand can be used as topsoil on lawns and gardens. Do not allow sand to wash into stormwater drains.

Food businesses that handle potentially hazardous foods need to apply food safety management tools. This includes completing mandatory training.
Under the Food Act 2006, all food businesses need to ensure staff have skills and knowledge in handling food safely. Free courses are available.
Certain licensable food businesses must have a food safety program accredited by Council. Find out what should be in your program and how to apply.
Licensable food businesses must notify Council of their food safety supervisor who has a certificate from a registered training organisation.
