Dog parks and beaches

Beachmere foreshore recreation area changes will come into effect from Monday 3 February 2025. This includes changes to the boundaries of the off-leash, on-leash and horse recreation areas. Learn more about the changes to the Beachmere foreshore recreation areas.

Dog park and beach users should follow dog park etiquette:

  1. Keep your dog under effective control at all times.
  2. Remove your dog's waste.
  3. Be considerate of others when exercising your dog.
  4. Dogs are prohibited from conservation parks, reserves and foreshores unless designated as dog exercise areas.
