John Naumann Hall

John Naumann Hall has continuous pathway and ramp from the car park to the front entry door.

Designated accessible parking bays are located in the car park with provision for drop off near the access ramp.

An internal accessible toilet is located in the hall.

Please inspect the venue prior to booking to ensure the facility meets your accessibility requirements.

This hall is managed by Lions Club of Deception Bay Inc on behalf of Council. 

Regular hire is available at this facility. A regular hirer is an individual or organisation that has bookings on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. Note:

• booking requests are required at least five business days prior to the requested hire date
• a minimum of 1 hour hire applies to all bookings
• Council may charge a refundable security bond to cover potential damage to the facility during hire.

All hirers are required to complete an online venue induction prior to their booking. Inductions are current for 12 months. Complete online venue site induction.

Hall inclusions:

• 20 Folding rectangular tables on trolleys (1830 mm x 760 mm)
• 100 stacking chairs.

Kitchen inclusions:

• urn
• commercial oven with 6 hot plates
• instant boiling water
• fridge with freezer
• microwave oven
• food warmer.

Bar inclusions:

• double door drinks fridge.

• 50% discount for non-profit/incorporated associations
• Council may charge a refundable security bond - use the bond calculator to estimate bond payable.

• Hirers are not permitted to sleep in the venue overnight, however, equipment may be left in the venue if the hirer has a booking for the following day by arrangement with Hall Management
• Smoking is prohibited in, and within 5 metres of Council venues, except for designated smoking areas
• The use of open flames including but not limited to candles, lanterns or smoke machines is prohibited
• Decorative items such as glitter, rice, sand or confetti is not permitted
• Decorations must not be affixed in any way that may cause damage; this includes, but is not limited to sticky tape, pins or tacks
• Animals, with the exception of assistance animals, are not permitted in council venues without prior approval.

Hall Management may provide prospective hirers the opportunity to view the hall prior to booking. Inspections are by appointment only and depend upon the hall manager and venue availability.
