Mt Mee Public Hall - external view

Mount Mee Hall is a beautiful timber heritage building with spectacular views of Moreton Bay. Recently painted externally, its features include a well equipped commercial kitchen, modern AV equipment and an enclosed external timber deck making it ideal for weddings and events.

The venue includes hire of the main hall, supper room and deck. 

The main hall is 10 metres x 16.5 meres with a 3 metre x 10 metre stage. The supper room is 4.5 metres x 9 metres. The deck is located off the supper room.

The hall is a self-service model: all hirers are responsible for set-up, pack-down and cleaning of the venue before the conclusion of hire.

Capacity

The main hall has a capacity of 200 people, the supper room has a capacity of 40 people and the deck has a capacity of 40 people. 

Accessibility

Mt Mee Public Hall is accessible by ramp from the main car park with a designated accessible parking bay.

An accessible toilet is located with the amenities block.

Restrictions on hire

  • Hirers are not permitted to sleep in the venue overnight.
  • Equipment may be left in the venue if the hirer has a booking for the following day, or by arrangement with Hall Management.
  • Smoking is not permitted in, or within 5 metres of, Council venues, except for designated smoking areas.
  • The use of open flames including but not limited to candles, lanterns or smoke machine is prohibited.
  • Decorative items such as glitter, rice, rose petals, sand or confetti is not permitted.
  • Decorations must not be affixed in any way that may cause damage; this includes, but is not limited to sticky tape, pins or tacks.
  • Animals with the exception of assistance animals, are not permitted in council venues without Council approval.

Venue Inspections

Hall Management may provide prospective hirers the opportunity to view the hall prior to booking. Inspections are by appointment only and depend upon the availability of the venue.
