Subsided graves at Council cemeteries

Due to the recent weather conditions, there are several subsided grave sites across Council's cemeteries. While Council staff will do everything possible to fill sites quickly, it is possible that some sites may not be rectified until the weather and the ground conditions stabilise.

Holiday closure

Council’s customer service centres will close at 12:00 PM on Tuesday 24 December 2024. Normal business hours will resume at 8:30 AM on Thursday 2 January 2025.

Fishing Fun (1000)

Learn the basics of safe and responsible shore based fishing practices with the multi award winning team from 2 Bent Rods.

Tie knots, bait hooks, cast a rod and gain plenty of tips and knowledge to help make your next fishing adventure more successful. All equipment provided.

Note: Participants 11 years and under require adult supervision for the duration of the activity. Bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Wear enclosed shoes, a hat and sun smart clothing. Sunglasses recommended.

By making a booking, or choosing to participate, in a City of Moreton Bay activity, you acknowledge and agree to the Program participant terms and conditions.

Subject to the participants’ consent, Council may take photographs / videos at this event for promotional purposes. If this event is selected for photography / videography, Council (or the event manager) will notify you and provide you with a Consent Form to complete and return to Council (or the event manager) either before or at the event. There will also be hard copy Consent Forms available to complete at the event, if needed. If you wish to participate in the event but do not consent to having your photograph / video taken, please advise the Council officer/s at the event or contact Council on healthyactive@moretonbay.qld.gov.au.
