Aquatic facilities

50-metre swimming pool

The aquatic centre includes a heated 50-metre heated swimming pool with a moveable bulkhead. This creates 16 25-metre lanes ranging in depth from 1.2 to 2 metres.

Indoor heated pool

The indoor heated swimming pool is used for venue-led programs, therapy, rehabilitation, exercise, and relaxation. Entry is restricted to adults, children under 5 years, and program participants. Venue-led programs include learn to swim classes, squad swimming, and aqua aerobics. The pool ranges in depth from 1.2 to 1.4 metres.

Leisure area

The leisure area offers fun for children of all ages, featuring a rapid river where water jets create a thrilling current that keeps kids entertained for hours. The leisure area also includes:

a swimming pool
a large water slide and junior water slide
waterspouts and mushroom fountains.

School term 1 and term 4

09:00 AM to 01:00 PM and 03:30 PM to 06:00 PM Monday to Friday (excluding water slide and rapid river)
Water slide and rapid river: 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM Saturday and Sunday
Leisure area: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Sunday.

Summer/Easter/September school holidays

Leisure area: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily
Water slide and rapid river: 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM daily.

Patrons must be a minimum of 120 centimetres tall to ride the water slide.

There is an additional fee to use the waterslide.

Accessibility

The centre has designated disability parking bays in the shared parking areas and an accessible path from the car park to the entrance.

It has an unisex accessible toilet and a Changing Places facility.

The 50-metre outdoor pool has ramp access. A water wheelchair is also available.

The indoor heated swimming pool has a fixed hoist and water wheelchair (maximum weight capacity 200 kilograms). The sling is to be supplied by the patron, if required.
