Ferny Hills Aquatic Centre

Splash about, have fun and get active at the Ferny Hills Aquatic Centre. Serving the Ferny Hills community and surrounding area, it offers a range of aquatic programs for people of all ages and abilities. These programs include:

learn to swim
aqua aerobics
swimming lessons
school swimming carnivals.

Our facility provides a range of amenities for the whole family to enjoy. Kids can take a break from the pool on the children's playground.

Make use of the barbecue facilities and picnic tables for a bite-to-eat or grab a coffee and snack at the poolside kiosk.

Aquatic facilities

50-metre heated swimming pool

The 50-metre heated swimming pool is perfect for lap swimming, casual swimming, and carnivals. It ranges in depth from 1.1 metres to 1.5 metres.

Indoor heated swimming pool

The Indoor heated swimming pool is used for swimming lessons, hydrotherapy, casual swimming, rehabilitation, exercise, relaxation and more. The pool ranges in depth from 0.9 metres to 1.2 metres.

Zero-depth splash pad

Our zero-depth splash pad is a water playground for kids with exciting water features and a tipping bucket.

Accessibiltiy

There is an accessible path from the designated accessible parking spaces to the building entrance.

Accessible change rooms and a unisex accessible toilet are available.

The indoor heated pool has ramp access and a water wheelchair is available. The 50-metre outdoor heated swimming pool has a fixed hoist and water wheelchair. The water wheelchairs have a maximum weight capacity of 200 kilograms. Patrons must supply the sling if required.
