North Lakes Aquatic Centre

The North Lakes Aquatic Centre has facilities and programs for everyone to enjoy. Get active by doing a few laps, a group fitness class, swimming lessons or a family day at the pool.

Programs run throughout the year, including learn-to-swim, aqua aerobics, and swimming squads.

Rackley Swimming run the learn-to-swim program at the centre. It caters to all ages from two months, including a free program for babies 2-6 months old.

Book your child's next birthday party for a fun-filled day with less stress through a party package. Hire a barbecue or giant inflatable, bring your party food, decorate the area and keep the kids active for hours.

The poolside café has coffee, drinks and snacks to keep the family fuelled and happy.

Aquatic facilities

Outdoor 25-metre heated swimming pool

This pool ranges in depth from 1.2 metres to 1.8 metres.

Indoor heated swimming pool

This pool hosts the learn-to-swim program, therapy, rehabilitation, exercise, and relaxation. The pool ranges from 0.9 metres to 1.2 metres in depth.

Children’s pool

The children's pool features mushroom sprinklers and waterspouts. It ranges in depth up to 30 centimetres.

Accessibility

There is an accessible path from the designated accessible parking spaces to the building entrance.

A unisex accessible toilet is available.

Both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools have a mobile chair lift. The safe working load of the mobile chair lift is 136 kilograms.

The indoor heated swimming pool has ramp access, and a water wheelchair is available. The safe working load of the water wheelchair is 200 kilograms. Patrons must supply the sling if required.
