Aerosol cans

Empty aluminium or steel aerosol cans can be recycled.

Aerosol cans containing paint, oil or chemicals are not accepted in recycling bins. These need to be taken to one of Council's major waste facilities for recovery as hazardous waste.

These items cannot be disposed of in your wheelie bins.

• Limited quantities of paint or oil aerosols accepted at transfer stations.
