Garden waste and clippings
Garden waste prunings, leaf litter and lawn clippings are perfect for adding nutrients to your compost bin at home. Together with some paper, cardboard, mulch, straw, and food scraps you will create a nutritious compost for your gardens and pots, improve the microorganism and general health of your soil and grow tastier and healthy herbs, fruit and vegetables at home.
Organic green waste vegetation is mulched and reused at Council Waste facilities. Free mulch is available to residents to add cover and nutrients to their gardens.
