Paper notice fee

Council will charge a $2.50 fee for all paper rates notices issued from January 2025. Ratepayers who receive their rates notice electronically, or who receive a pensioner rebate or self-funded retiree rebate, will be exempt.

Holiday closure

Council’s customer service centres will close at 12:00 PM on Tuesday 24 December 2024. Normal business hours will resume at 8:30 AM on Thursday 2 January 2025.

Oil - cooking

Cooking oil that is disposed in drains and sinks could cause plumbing or environmental problems. Small amounts of cooking oil can be disposed into garden composting systems (preferably not worm farms).

Domestic disposal is limited to 20 litres total of chemicals, paint and oil per visit.
