Recycled crushed concrete
Recycled aggregates are available to buy from Bunya, Caboolture and Dakabin waste management facilities.
We crush and screen the aggregate on site from incoming hardened concrete. We may also include smaller quantities of brick, pavers, and ceramics. Recycling concrete into a useful resource for the building industry saves it from going to landfill.
You can come to our major waste facilities to inspect the recycled aggregate and check if it suits your needs.
If you have waste concrete to dispose of, learn about concrete disposal.
Crushed concrete prices
Crushed concrete is available in 3 sizes:
- 80 millimetres
- 40 millimetres
- 20 millimetres minus
The price for all sizes is $10.00 per tonne, including mechanical loading and GST. A minimum purchase of 0.5 tonnes applies.
The final amount loaded by our machinery may differ from the ordered quantity. Payment is taken at the weighbridge. We will charge for the final loaded quantity as you leave the waste facility.

You can buy crushed concrete at our major waste facilities from opening to one hour before closing. Mechanical loading is available, however, wait times may apply.
Council is currently only loading trucks and tipper trailers over 4.5 tonne GVM. Sales to smaller vehicles will be available shortly.

Buying crushed concrete from Council
Purchases over 5 tonnes
The State Government needs us to collect some details from you if you buy more than 5 tonnes of crushed concrete. The Department of Environment and Science requires Council to collect the following:

- address where the resource is being taken.
Our team will record this at the weighbridge as you leave.
Purchases over 20 tonnes
If you need more than 20 tonnes of crushed concrete, you must complete an order form. We need at least 48 hours' notice of your order.
Make sure you check the quantity is available at your chosen waste facility before completing the form.
