Dementia-friendly libraries

Libraries across City of Moreton Bay are working towards becoming dementia-friendly venues. We have created an action plan with the community and Dementia Australia, focussing on community education and staff training. Our plan also sees more inclusive programming, spaces, and collections in our libraries.

We have compiled a list of resources to support individuals with dementia, their families and carers. Browse and borrow items in the library or access links to dementia support and information, apps and services. View our Dementia resources.

All of our libraries have accessible parking, access, and toilet facilities. Redcliffe Library has an adult change table facility as part of the Changing Places program.
