Dialogue is an important tool in driving plot and narrative in fiction.

Take a deep dive into using dialogue in your own writing in this workshop presented by Sarah Klenbort in partnership with Queensland Writers Centre.

About the presenter

Dr Sarah Klenbort writes short fiction and creative nonfiction.

She teaches creative writing and English literature at the University of Queensland, has a Masters of Fine Art in Creative Writing and gained her PhD in English.

She is the author of more than 40 publications found in literary journals, newspapers, magazines and anthologies here and around the world. She won the 2023 ACPA Award for Best Education Coverage. She also won the 2019 Inktears Short Story Competition.

Her short fiction can be found in Overland and Southerly, and her nonfiction in Island and Eureka Street.
