Join the inimitable Jane Caro for an In Conversation event to launch her new thriller, Lyrebird.

The book opens when hiking in remote bushland, Jessica Weston hears a terrifying scream.

After her relief on discovering that the sounds are coming from a lyrebird, she realises the bird must have heard the sound somewhere!

The police dismiss her evidence at the time. But 20 years later they unearth a body; where Jessica said it would be.

Megan Blaxland, a newly minted detective believed Jessica the first time. And now 20 years on they have a chance to find out what really happened, whatever it takes.

What they don't realise is they are not just putting themselves in danger, but also the lives of those close to them.

Free. Bookings required. Doors open at 6:15 PM for a 6:30 PM start. For adults.

Jane will sign copies of her book after the conversation. Book sales courtesy of QBD The Bookshop North Lakes.
