About Dr Turton

This is a two-part series with Dr Steve Turton (PhD). Book free tickets for part 1 here. He has published more than 130 scientific reports, book chapters and journal articles in rainforest ecology, environmental geography and climate change adaptation in tourism and natural resource management.

His distinguished career includes over 40 years of research and teaching in environmental science and geography, serving in directorial and advisory roles and providing expert advice to governmental and other organisations.

Recently retired, Steve is Adjunct Professor in Environmental Geography in the Research Division at Central Queensland University.
