Join us for Live & Local 2025, streamed live by Sydney Writers’ Festival and delivered locally to Redcliffe Library; presented in partnership with Redcliffe Writers Group and the Fellowship of Australia Writers Queensland.

The Sydney Writers’ Festival will live-stream a selection of its headline events from Sydney to Redcliffe Library on Thursday 22, Friday 23, Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May 2025.

Prepare to be invigorated and engaged by conversations, debates and discussions featuring some of the world’s finest writers and thinkers. Audiences can also participate in live Q&A sessions at each event, sending questions straight to the Sydney stage. Live captions available for all sessions.

Free event. Bookings essential. Book for a day and come to as many sessions as you want on that day. Book for multiple days to attend all sessions.

Streaming days comprise of numerous 50 minute sessions that commence at 10am AEST and continue during library opening hours. There is an hour interval between sessions. 

This schedule and event durations are subject to change and will be confirmed in March 2025.
